Haroun is a typical kid who has lots of questions.He is always eager to find out more.Haroun is temperamental,he has shown this because when his dad told him his stories weren’t true he went mad and verbally hurt his father.

I think the most important event was when Soraya left.I think this is important because Rashid can’t tell anymore stories and I think Rashid can’t tell anyone stories because his heart is empty.

Salmon Rushdie created tension and suspense by leaving many questions unasked,like why Soraya left and where she had gone.Salmon also does this because this forces the reader to read on as they would be intrigued and would want to find out what happens.One of the many times he’s done this is when Rashid’s mind went ,and he vowed he would tell a great story eventhough in his heart he knew he might not be able to.

The world wad divided into two, above was heaven below was a drifting ocean.Izanagi and Izanami created the first land and had many children,which became islands in Japan.One day Izanami died.Izanagi went to the land of the dead to find her.

I think the most significant paragraph is the one which starts ,”her lips werered,her looks were free.”I think this because without this we wouldn’t know a thing about the women.Also it helps us know what the women could be .

The sun now rosed upon the right.
I chose this sentence because it uses personification.The author uses this to describe how the Sun rose.It also gives the reader a clearer picture of what the poet is trying to talk about.
